Classes are listed on the site: www.saddlehawkranch.com under events tab, and you will need to sign up there, and then email us to qualify to take the class at reduced or no cost through Equine Safe Haven. Just email us and let us know which class you would like to take, and if you qualify, we will sponsor you for the class(es)
Saturday Oct 18, 2025 - Whitesboro Peanut Festival Parade
Whitesboro Texas, our very own town will be having their Peanut Festival. Huge crowds of about 30k will gather this weekend. Ronin will be participating in driving Veterans in the parade at 10am.
Saturday Nov 8th & Sunday Nov 9th, 2025 - Bellville Texas
American Driving Society: HACA Pine Hill Driving Trial and CT, Driving Trial and Combined Test. We will be heading down to the Houston Texas area to test our driving skills
Sat. September 20, 2025 - Pioneer Day - Collinsville, Texas
The parade starts at 5pm. Line up between 4pm - 4:30pm- Collinsville, Texas Pioneer Day Parade! We will have a couple of horses and carriages participating. As always, we will need volunteers to help harness, drive and safety walkers!
Sat. Sep. 27 - Sun Sep. 28, 2025 - TCA Carriage Classic at Willow Draw, Weatherford, Texas
Join us as we participate in the American Driving Society division classes with Ronin "the rockstar of SaddleHawk Ranch" will compete at Weatherford Texas for two days of fun!

We are thrilled to invite you to an extraordinary celebration—The North Texas Ranchers Ball, taking place on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Prepare to step into a night of Western elegance and heartfelt purpose.
Held at the stunning Madelyn Venue in Collinsville, Texas, this event unfolds on a private 200-acre estate nestled in the rolling hills of Grayson County. Guests will dine, dance, and delight inside a beautifully restored 1890s barn, rustic charm meets refined sophistication.
Join us for the very first North Texas Ranchers Ball—an upscale, elegant, and enriching evening designed to bring our community together in celebration and support. This premier event will spotlight the incredible horses of Equine Safe Haven and showcase the transformative learning programs we offer. Our mission is to cultivate meaningful relationships and build lasting trust between the nonprofit and the people we serve. Through this event, we aim to raise awareness of Equine Safe Haven’s vital work and generate impactful funding to support future educational initiatives, support for those that are economically or physically disadvantaged and animal care programs throughout the region. Together, these efforts create more than just a fundraiser—they build a bridge between our organization and the broader community, strengthening our reach, deepening our impact, and ensuring a brighter future for the animals and people we serve.
Ladies, bring your sparkle. Gentlemen, polish those boots. This ball pays homage to the grandeur of historic Western galas—reimagined with modern grace.
More than a celebration, this evening supports Equine Safe Haven, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities or hardships through the healing bond of rehabilitated equines. Every ticket purchased brings us closer to transforming lives—both human and horse.

• 🎸 Live Music & Dancing: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM The Big City Outlaws take the stage to keep the energy high and the dance floor lively. Up to 300 guests are invited to join the celebration and dance the night away.

Equine Safe Haven's Summer Vacation
Deming New Mexico, home to Equine Safe Haven, shuts down May 15, 2025, for summer. It's just too hot, too dusty, and too smokey!
This year, Deming New Mexico has been plagued with severe dust storms, (a total of 68 from February) and high heat (daily temps well over 100 degrees) and smoke from the surrounding fires (Fires in the Gila Forest).
It made for an incredible unhealthy situation for both Equine and human. "You simply cannot breathe, work outside, and feel sick", said Katrina, the Executive Director. "It's unhealthy, and I cannot offer programs or have volunteers work in these conditions!"
When weather is an issue...What to do?
The decision was made to relocate the Equines away from it all! A beautiful grassy, horsey turnkey facility on 37 acres: a second location in Texas, which marks a new chapter filled with green pastures, shade, freedom to roam, and fresh opportunities.
Double Our Impact
We anticipate announcing some programs opening soon in North Texas this summer.
We will be looking for folks that want to drive a horse and carriage, and those that want to learn with the wheelchair accessible carriage. We look forward to events and competitions that will showcase the worth of the horses and the human that partners with them.
The community can look forward to engaging with these magnificent animals and the life-changing experiences they offer this summer, at the second location in North Texas
